Rock Code

I am my own rock.

There is no one I can rely on to save me from the badness of the world.

I am my own rock.

I count on myself to guide me and to help me.

I am my own rock.

Everyone else is trivial. There is no one I can trust to save my skin or me. Few are trusted with the friendship I bestow.

I am not conceited.

I am not rude.

I do not trust.

I have learned that just because you give and give does not mean that they do the same. Maybe there will come a time where the parties are looking for the same thing, have the same morals.

Not this time.

You do you. I am my own rock. I will make my own rules for my own world. When I grant you passage, you will respect my rules and my rock code.
